Class Details

What you can expect to learn from our new short course: Volatility Levels.

Class Description: We are excited to continue in our new On Demand Video Series, which will take a “Deep Dive” into many of our most Popular and Successful Option Strategies! Our next release is on Volatility. This course is a “Deep Dive” into the Trading Volatility. How we trade it, Risk management, Adjustments, and Practical Examples.

Our Goal for you is to become a Craftsman of the  “Volatility”. As with all our courses, you will have a dedicated Class Page with the Videos and Power Point Slides which you will have access to. The most important thing on the student Class Page in my opinion, is the Q and A Button you can click on to Ask questions about the Class Material. This way, you get the teaching, and also the ability to ask Jay questions if you don’t understand something!

In this course you will learn:

– What does VIX Measure
– VIX History
– Setting VIX Levels
– What Determines a breakout?
– Breakout Examples from the past
– What to do when a breakout occurs
– How to Interpret the VIX Range
– Trading the VIX Range

Jay Bailey was a Sheridan Mentoring student before joining the SOM staff as a Mentor. Jay has been passing on his knowledge for over 10 year at Sheridan and is excited to bring this in depth look at Volatility!

Important Notice- Risk Disclaimer

Futures & Stock options trading has large potential rewards, but also large potential risk. You must be aware of the risks and be willing to accept them in order to invest in the futures and stock options markets. Don’t trade with money you can’t afford to lose. This is neither a solicitation nor an offer to buy or sell futures or options. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those discussed on this web site. The pas performance of any stock option trading system or methodology is not necessarily indicative of future results.

Hypothetical or simulated performance results have certain inherent limitations. Unlike an actual performance record, simulated results do not represent actual stock option trading. Also, since the option trades have not actually been executed, the results may have under- or over- compensated for the impact, if any, certain market factors, such as lack of liquidity. Simulated stock option trading programs in general are also subject to the fact that they are designed with the benefit of hindsight. No representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
